I am shocked someone trying to "ease the struggle with conception" would advise the "day 14" rule. Cycles can vary widely. I used Taking Charge Of Your Fertility . This charts/tracks your cycle and the changes during each phase. I am convinced that understanding and paying attention to your cycle and cervical fluid is the way to conceive or for some avoid conception. Frustration is lessened by REALLY understanding how YOUR body works not just a "for most women" generalization.
