The best way to get pregnant is to live a healthy lifestyle and get your body as healthy as possible. If you are shaking your head and thinking, “I already do that”, after reading these top 10 tips to get pregnant, you might realize, you aren’t as healthy as you could be. And maybe by implementing all of these tips into your lifestyle, better things will happen.

1. Stop eating foods with MSG in it. MSG has been linked to infertility. Make sure to read the labels on the back of foods. MSG is not just in most Chinese foods anymore. It is in a lot of foods now. As an added note, any kind of preservative is not good for you. When you can, eat foods without preservatives.

2. Don’t eat pesticides. It sounds obvious but a lot of people don’t wash their fruits and vegetables well. Buy a veggie wash. You can typically get it at Walmart or your local health store. Some supermarkets even sell it now. Remember, eating fruits and veggies is an excellent way to get a lot of needed vitamins and minerals but not if they are loaded with pesticides. Another option… a much better one… is to buy organic fruits and vegetables from your local health store. It is expensive but worth it.

3. Drink fresh vegetable juices such as carrot juice as much as possible. Vegetable juices are loaded with antioxidants… and studies have shown that an increase in antioxidants increases the sperm in men… and therefore increases the the chance of becoming pregnant. True story… there was a man who was told all of his sperm cells were killed years ago because of a bad bout with lyme’s disease as well as other infections he had in his lifetime. He and his wife tried to have a baby for about 15 years but it appeared hopeless. Then he started drinking a lot of carrot juice daily (fresh carrot juice) and after about 8 months, he became fertile again… and had a beautiful healthy baby girl. As an added note… this man was 46 years old when he had a baby.

4. Make sure the man eats lots of tomato soup. A study done in August of 2007 showed that men who ate just one bowl of tomato soup a day boosted their fertility rate by 7 to 12%.

5. Do not drink tap water… and try not to cook with it as well. Use distilled water to cook. Most of the time, tap water is filled with fluoride which has been linked to lower fertility rates as well as lower sperm counts.

6. Eat as many green vegetables as possible. Everyone knows that folic acid is so important for pregnancy… so eat as much broccoli, spinach and asparagus as possible.

7. Steam your vegetables versus cooking them on the stove, grilling them or microwaving them. Steaming vegetables versus cooking them is a much better option since much more nutrients are kept intact when steaming. You can buy a steamer at Walmart or any Department store. Nowadays, you can buy steamers that will cook the whole meal for you… as some of them have 3 sections… and you can put your chicken in one area (set it for one temperature) and your vegetables in another area (and set them for a different temperature). They’re great because you can just set the timer… and walk away until the meal is done.

8. Stop smoking if you do. Studies show that you decrease your chance of getting pregnant by 50% if you smoke.

9. Lose weight if you are overweight. Again, studies show that overweight woman have a harder time conceiving.

10. Stop drinking alcohol. Studies show that getting pregnant is harder if you drink while pregnant.

Increasing Your Chances For Conception With A “Getting Pregnant Diet” If there was a getting pregnant diet that consisted of the foods you could eat that would guarantee pregnancy, most women would definitely go for it the minute they heard of it. And while there isn’t such a guaranteed diet, many women are ignoring the fact that a real “getting pregnant” diet does exist – in the form of eating right and keeping yourself health.

Yet, just a few changes in your diet can mean all the difference between difficulty conceiving and a healthy pregnancy. So how does this getting pregnant diet work? Studies have shown that a healthy diet is directly linked to a lower risk of ovulatory infertility and better overall reproductive health. Eating well also prepares the body for impending conception, drastically lowering the chances of complications during pregnancy.

Men have also shown major improves in their testicular health and sperm count with an adjustment in their eating habits. So what exactly does this diet entail? Surprisingly, it’s nothing beyond what you already know you should be eating. But when conception is at the forethought of your mind, switching to a healthier diet should be right behind it.

To start, stick to the 8-8 rule for water: 8 glasses a day, 8 ounces a glass. That means you should be totaling 64 ounces of water per day – and it never hurts to drink more. Of course, the 8-8 rule doesn’t apply strictly to water; contrary to popular belief, juice, soda, and any other liquid you consume counts towards your daily limit. But, with all of the great benefits water has to offer, including a decrease in appetite and overeating, better skin, and better digestive health, it’s not a bad idea to keep water the majority of your overall intake.

Cutting out junk foods is usually impossible for the majority of is, but cutting down isn’t that hard. Don’t forbid yourself the guilty pleasure of a piece of candy or some chocolate ice cream, but indulge in a piece of fruit or some crunchy vegetables before you dive into the sweet stuff. You’ll not only get something healthy in your system first, you’ll have less room to pig out on the bad snacks.

Protein and whole grain carbs are also a big part of the getting pregnant diet. Energy comes from carbohydrates, but most of us consume too many bad carbs throughout the day. Whole grains can cut down on the bad carbs we take in. Protein is always an important staple of any diet, and can not only help with regulation, but help you feel full, longer, which decreases your desire to snack on empty calories.

And last but not least in the getting pregnant diet is the prenatal vitamin. Sure, prenatal vitamins are for pregnant women and the growing baby, but there’s no harm in taking them when you aren’t pregnant. And when you’re trying to conceive, prenatal vitamins can replace your regular multi-vitamin to not only prepare your body for the impending conception, but also decrease your infertility rate by as much as 40%!

So everyone has taken health class and knows the basics on how to conceive a baby. As it turns out, it’s not always as simple as inserting tab A into slot B. Fertility issues plague many couples who are hoping for a baby, and more and more are turning to infertility treatments to help them conceive. But before you put down thousands of dollars on fertility drugs and painful procedures, use this getting pregnant tips to see if you can skip the fertility doctor and head right for the first trimester:

Get Off The Pill

Most women know to prevent pregnancy, you take birth control. So by logic, to get pregnant, you need to stop taking birth control. Unfortunately, it’s not so simple as off on Friday, pregnant by Monday. Even though mom said skipping the pill once could mean fatal disaster, the truth is, the hormones from your birth control can linger around longer than you’d ever expect. The longer you’ve been taking prescription birth control, the longer it can take to exit your system. If you’ve been taking birth control for a few years or more, then you should give yourself up to a 12 months of trying before you’ll hit success.

Track Your Cycle

Some women watch their cycle like clockwork; the rest of us ignore it and hope it doesn’t rear it’s ugly head on date night. Believe it or not, familiarizing yourself with your cycle is by far the easiest way to get pregnant. There are two days out of every month when every woman is most likely to get pregnant – these are the days you want to focus on trying. There are other days in your cycle where you could get pregnant, but your chances are decreased. Tracking and trying on the days where you have the best chances will prevent you from wasting your time and energy on days where your chances are low – purely for fertility purposes, of course.

Increase Your Vitamin Levels

Most of us don’t keep the most healthy diet, and we’re probably lacking in the important vitamins and nutrients we should be getting on a daily basis. Start increasing your intake of vitamins to not only keep your body in good health, but increase your chances of conceiving. Some women also take a prenatal vitamin while trying to conceive. Whether it increases your chances or not is still debatable, but when you do get pregnant, it’s certainly creates a much healthier environment for the baby right from the start. If you think your infertility problems are stopping you from conceiving, give these getting pregnant tips a try. They’re simple and easy, but can mean all the difference between the fertility specialist and the pediatrician.

In the lifetime of a woman, the best moments are when she becomes a mother. It’s a feeling that only a mother can explain. When women conceive and are due to deliver in 9 months there are a number of worries and anticipations along with excitement and delight cropping in one’s mind and heart. Every pregnant woman would want to have a healthy baby first and then would desire for either of the sex, colour, or appearance. Health comes first and should be the most primary concern of any expecting mother. Taking care of yourself and for your expected child during pregnancy is the most important focus during that period.

Pregnant women must follow a certain diet and lifestyle and avoid a few things to have a healthy baby. She must first and foremost stay healthy by eating the right food items. She must not only eat for herself but should eat for her baby as well. A good nutritious diet consisting of bread, vegetables, fruits, milk and milk products, meat and protein food should be consumed on a daily basis. Pregnant women must also drink lots of water and have lots of calcium content food items. Some of the good sources of calcium are almonds, dried beans; vegetable those are dark green in colour, like spinach and broccoli, milk and milk products, sardines, peas and brussel sprouts.

Around 30 mg’s of iron is required for pregnant women to build up their haemoglobin level. Iron can be found in food products of red meat, eggs, dry fruits, salmon, dried beans and peas among others. Pregnant women should have a healthy diet and along with this must also have a healthy lifestyle to have a safe delivery and a healthy baby. They must sleep well, be in good spirits, should be surrounded with bliss and a stress free environment. They should further exercise regularly, and have a daily routine walk to flex their muscles and bones. This helps pregnant women have a smooth and easy delivery.

Pregnant women must also avoid a few things in order to have a health baby. They must first let go of all their bad habits, if any, of abuse, namely, alcohol or drug abuse. They should avoid taking any stress upon themselves mentally or physically. OTC or over the counter medicines must also be avoided. Consuming a lot of hot or spicy food items, tea, caffeine, and vitamin a supplements, effect the proper development of the foetus.

Women who are pregnant tend to feel over heated because of hormonal changes and thus must avoid any additional heating from outside. By this we mean Jacuzzi’s, Sauna or sun bathing must be avoided, as it has been found that women with over heated bodes tend to deliver baby’s with neural defects.

Thus all the above points must be kept in mind by a pregnant woman. Things that need to be avoided must be taken seriously as they have a direct or indirect effect at the normal growth and development of the baby in the womb.

To Your Health!

The essential aspects of this website, would be to finde good written content on how to get pregnant. Today’s article is about how to get pregnant and even you\’ll find the full article reproduced under for convenience:

The good news is that pregnancy after 40 isn’t as difficult as it used to be.  A getting pregnant calendar should be your first step: make sure you carefully mark the days of your cycle in order to maximize your chances.  Knowing your ovulation date is the single most important factor when it comes to conceiving a child, so make sure you and your partner are aware of when these days are.

The best pregnancy food to eat includes anything that will help you stay energized.  Balance proteins such as meats, fish, eggs and poultry against healthy carbohydrates like fruit, nuts, and whole grains or cereals.  Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated, and try to increase your physical activity so that you’re getting at least 30 minutes of exercise each day.  Getting pregnant after 40 requires your body to be in the best possible shape, both for you and your future baby.

The best pregnancy vitamins include supplements that your body may no longer be getting enough of.  As a woman advances in age her metabolism decreases, and the breaking down of food and nutrients isn’t as efficient as it used to be.  Trying to conceive a baby while your body is deficient of essential minerals can be an uphill battle, which is why the following recommended prenatal vitamin regimen should be considered:

* Folic Acid – This supplement is a must have.  It’s the number one pre-pregnancy vitamin prescribed to women of any age, and it’s an important part of early fetal development.  You should make sure Folic Acid is at the top of your list.

* Iron – Getting enough iron can be a problem as you get older.  For women who are anemic, iron is especially important.  Make sure you’re getting your daily recommended allowance.

* Calcium – As you probably already know, calcium breakdown can be a common female problem as age increases.  Ovulation and getting pregnant requires that you get more than enough of this vital element.

* DHA – Many top prenatal vitamins include docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).  This is an omega-3 fatty acid normally found in fish that is important for brain and heart development and health.  Because women trying to become pregnant often limit their intake of fish due to concerns about mercury, they sometimes miss out on getting enough DHA in their diet.  Make up for it here.

* Alpha Lipoic Acid – Essential to producing energy at a cellular level, C0Q10 and alpha lipoic acid are fairly expensive and not commonly found in most prenatal supplements… but these nutrients can have incredibly powerful effects on your body’s function.  If you can work these into your budget, they’re certainly worth it.

* Zinc – Want to really boost fertility?  Zinc has been shown to do just that, in numerous studies.  It can be taken while trying to get pregnant in order to stimulate fertility and you should continue to take it while pregnant to help in the development in your baby’s tissues.

* Vitamin B6 – Not only do the B-complex vitamins help give you an energy boost, but this particular supplement has been proven to decrease symptoms of morning sickness.  By increasing chances of getting pregnant with this mineral, you’re also helping out with how you’ll feel once you’ve already conceived.

No matter how old you are, it’s never a bad idea to be on the best pregnancy vitamin plan possible.  It’s also important to realize that there are foods that you should avoid while trying to get pregnant, and over the counter medications and herbal remedies that could be counterproductive to having a baby.  On the flip side of the coin, there are many that can actually help in Getting pregnant after 40.
